Jarkkokarkko Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Hei, Tarttis vinkkejä miten pääsee käsiksi pyyhkijän ja valojen katkasijoiden irrotusmekanismeihin. Hienoja videoita on netti täynnä että paina tästä napista niin valokytkin irtoaa, mutta pitääkö koko alapuolinen kojelauta purkaa ilmastointisäätimineen yms. jotta tähän pääsee käsiksi? Onko hyviä vinkkejä tai ohjeita miten tuon purku ois järkevää tehdä? Tarkotus olis vaan laittaa kojetauluun lamppuja niin näkee hämärässäkin vähä mitä mittarit sanoo. kiitos neuvoista.
Jarkkokarkko Posted June 3, 2015 Author Posted June 3, 2015 Itse itseäni neuvoen: print it from here. Procedures for dash/gauge assembly removal #1) If you have a shift indicator (located directly in between your tach and speedo do the following) take your right hand and follow the steering column down underneath the dash. You will feel a small screw which is screwed into the steering column. You will also feel a small wire which is attached to the screw on the column. Take a phillips screwdriver and remove the screw. The wire itself is attached to a small square piece of metal. This wire leads up to the shift indicator. The way it works is when you pull back on the staple shifter (in the console) it rotates the steering column and the wire pulls the shift indicator to the appropriate place on the indicator, ie: park, reverse, neutral, drive, drive 1. (If you don't remove this screw/wire, you will break the shift indicator. #2) Remove the four screws from the dash gauge bezel. #3) Pull back the dash bezel on the right side and stick your hand behind it and pull out the cigarette lighter harness. #4) Pull out the dash bezel until you feel resistance on the left side of the bezel. The resistance you are feeling will be the windshield wiper wiring harness and the wiring harness that controls your lights (all on the left side.) Stick your hand around the back of the bezel and remove the harness for the windshield wiper. #5) This part is tricky. Feel for the light switch assembly behind the harness (upper left portion of the bezel) Then, feel for a small push button which is located on the right side of the square light switch. Pull out the light switch 1/2 to 3/4 of the way and push the button in. By doing so, will allow you to pull out the rest of the light switch from the assembly. When you pull on the light switch, you should be feeling 1 or 2 detents as your doing this. Be advised the push button I am referring to is spring activated and very testy. Be patient and play with it, it will come out. #6) Once you've got the light stick separated from the light assembly (box) you can take a needle nose plier and twist the ring, which is on the face of the assembly. Once you get this ring loose, you will be able to remove it and pull the switch assembly out from the back. Once this is done, you can remove the bezel from the dash, completely. ***NOTE: If you cannot remove the bezel from the dash, it is probably because the lower portion of the dash is hitting the steering column. Be careful not to break the two small ears attached to the lower (round) portion of the bezel. If this is occurring, you will have to lower the steering column. If you have to lower the column, follow the column below the dash and you will see two bolts on either side. The bolts hold the steering column in place. Remove the two bolts and with two hands, slowly lower the steering column onto the driver's seat and let it rest. #7) Now, your gonna have to remove the lower dash assembly. This is done by simply removing the screws from inside the ash tray and the 4 others which hold it in place. # Once you've removed the lower dash, take your right or left hand and place it directly behind the speedo. Squeeze the ring which holds the speedo cable in the speedometer and pull it out. (when you re-install the cable, it would be a good time to apply a fair amount of cable grease.) #9) Now, remove the four screws from the gauge housing (be careful when putting them back in. As indicated by another member the housing is very fragile and you can break the ears off if you screw them in too tightly.) Once you've removed the four screws pull the gauge assembly out from the dash. #10) Now, put your hand back behind the gauge assembly and remove the wiring harness, which is located just a little to the left of the speedo cable. You will have to do this by "feel." The wiring harness is rectangular in shape and just squeeze the two ends together and pull out the wiring harness. #11) Now, you can remove the gauge assembly, in its' entirety from the dash. Just follow the reverse to re-install. <--- Ameriikan serkut jeesas ohjeilla, joten ajattelin laittaa tänne jos jollakulla on vastaavaa mietinnässä.
