Open rear diff. All original and in beautiful condition, around 100k km on the odometer. I bought this in Lappeenranta 3 years ago. My first real car that I will never sell and it made me love the third gens a lot, but the weak v6 did leave me wanting more power. The dark red car is a 1988 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA with the 305 cid (5.0 liter) V8, World Class T5 transmission, LSD rear end, four-wheel disc brakes, T-top and digital dash. This car is not original. An f-body club sticker on the car led me to this forum, where I found out that Senior, another forum member owned this car around 2004 and did plenty of upgrades to it: A nice cam, Edelbrock intake manifold and long tube headers, upgraded injectors, upgraded and ported intake runners and a tune. After Senior got bored of the car, he sold it to another forum member, Punishment. Punishment then sold the car to an unknown owner, who let the car sit outside for 16 years. I bought the car in August with no katsastus, in awful and neglected condition- inside and out (the photo below is after weeks of repainting/restoring the paint, rust repairs and so on). I fixed up a few things and it was on the road for the first time since 2010! Shortly after, it already had its first track day and car meet 🙂 Now I am replacing some old parts and discovering all the upgrades Senior did to the car, fixing some issues that came with age and over the winter I would like to finish tuning the car and perhaps give it some more upgrades. 4 3

Except when they are broken, which is often 🙂 I hope I can attend once more before winter sets in. 2
