HFB Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Looking good! Are there many American cars in Russia, is the "yankee" culture strong? I was wondering the same... And what should I use for fix line at the the vehicle floor? Thanks.
Möykkä Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 And what should I use for fix line at the the vehicle floor? If you don't have the original bracket for the hose, you should manufacture one. In the bracket you drill and shape an appropriate hole for the hose you're using. Attach the bracket for example by welding it to the floor. Make sure the hose is long enough for the suspension to move freely.
Möykkä Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Attach the hose to the bracket with a brake hose clip.
SOD Posted April 10, 2012 Author Posted April 10, 2012 Möykkä thank you. And how is line fixed on the floor in original cars?
Nupa Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Here´s one more useful site with wiring diagrams etc. http://www.nastyz28.com/camaro/camaro80.php
Möykkä Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Möykkä thank you. And how is line fixed on the floor in original cars? You're welcome You can attach the rear brake line to the side of the rear and front subframes and the driveshaft tunnel with brake line clips. I don't know how it's been done originally in 2nd gen f-bodies , but who cares as long as it looks nice and works allright
Möykkä Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 Almost any sort of small clip will do the job, just attach them with screws. You can easily manufacture your own clips also. If the clip is loose on the line, take a short length of small hose (fuel hose, coolant hose or whatever), split the hose on one side and place it lengthwise between the tube and the clip.

How do you think is it good price for this stuff?
Hurja Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 I think you got lots of stuff for that money, if the parts are in good condition.
